Dr.
Jiade J. Lu is a board certified Clinical Oncologist who
is the Editor-in-Chief of the Cancer Information Network.
Dr. Lu obtained his
B.S. in Biochemistry and M.D. from the State University of New
York at Buffalo. He completed his study in medicine in
1996. After his internship at Buffalo Sisters Hospital
in Internal Medicine in 1996-1997, he started his residency
training in Radiation Oncology at the University of
Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr.
Lu received full board-certification in May 2001.
Dr. Lu is very
active in cancer research. He is the author of multiple
research publications in the field of Radiation Oncology, and
was awarded the Residency / Fellowship Research Award
from the Radiology Society of North America (RSNA) in 2001 for
his numerous contribution in the field of Oncology. He
has a strong interest in Head and Neck Cancers,
Gastrointestinal Cancers, Breast Cancers, Brachytherapy, and
Medical Information System.

Dr.
Yadvindera (Bobby) Bains is a board certified Radiation
Oncologist who is chief of the Radiation Oncology Program of
the Sanchez Cancer Center at Mercy Health Center in Laredo,
Texas.
His interest in
application of technology in medicine started during his
undergraduate years. He obtained his B.S. in
Electrical Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering
specialization from the University of Texas at Austin.
During his education, he had an opportunity to explore, build,
and test such equipment as Lie Detector Machine and an E.K.G.
machine. This interaction of Engineering and Medicine
was one of the factors that persuaded him into the Medical
Arena. He was president of the Biomedical Engineering Society
and Treasurer of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical
Engineers-Computer Science division while at UT Austin.
He was awarded the Electrical Engineering Student Leadership
Award in 1990 for his numerous contributions.
Dr. Bains attended
Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science
Center in San Antonio, Texas (UTHSCSA). He graduated in
1995. During this time he was active in researching
applications of Positron Emission Topography (PET scan).
He did an Internship at University Hospital in Internal
Medicine in 1995-1996. His Residency training in
Radiation Oncology was done at the University of Miami/Jackson
Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
He scored in the top 10% on his radiation oncology written
board exam and obtained full board-certification in May 2000.
He is presently
the Chief of Radiation Oncology at the Sanchez Cancer Center
of the Mercy Health Center in Laredo, Texas. He has a
strong interest in Brachytherapy, Prostate cancer, Lung
cancers, and Breast Cancers.

Dr.
Stephanie C. Han is a board certified Radiation Oncologist
who is an Assistant Professor of the Radiation Oncology
Department of the New York University Cancer Center.
Dr. Han
obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry and M.D. from the State
University of New York at Buffalo. She graduated from the
medical school in 1996. Dr. Han completed her residency
training in Radiation Oncology Department of Yale University
Medical Center, and is very active in clinical research during
her residency and is the author of multiple important research
publications in the field of Gynecological Oncology. Dr. Han
obtained full board-certification in May 2001.
She is presently an Assistant
Professor and attending physician at the New York University
Cancer Center. She has a strong interest in
Gynecological Oncology, Brachytherapy, and clinical research.
